A good blogger earn a whole lot of cash every month.

But you need to earn money. For those of us who are ambitious, love a challenge, love blogging and love to learn, blogging has turned into a life’s work.

The hard part is the money. So here are some easy

earning techniques that can help you get your blog off the ground and keep

it going with the occasional influx of cash.

You can use them or modify them as needed to find your own, personal perfect formula.

Subscription and Package Deals

After you have a few months under your belt, you can consider a subscription or package deal.

These are services or products that come monthly or quarterly and are a very good value.

This can pay for the domain name and other infrastructure you need, the hosting, and more. A good example would be a full website template that comes monthly in your chosen theme or monthly blog posts in your chosen topic.

Other examples would be premium blogs like wordpress or blogger.

You can choose your package and set the price, but for me the starting rate is usually around $4.99.

Affiliate Programs

This is a term created by Google. It basically means that you get a commission when you refer a customer to a company.

This can be a serious cash cow if you set the right linkups and it’s easy to do and results in many customers.

I recently started an affiliate program and already have over 100 customers (and counting). I haven’t earned any money yet,

but expect that to happen soon. At least in the next few months.

Hosting

If you don’t want to deal with setting up a blog yourself you can usually find someone who will set it up for you and give you one week’s free hosting.

But remember, they are more than likely going to sell you the website too and then you will have to charge them for your hosting as well.

At $10 a month it’s cheaper to set it up yourself and use your own hosting for your blog than to pay for someone else to do it.

And when you start earning a few dollars here and there,

why not give the blogging life a try?

This is another opportunity for an affiliate linkup.

Advertisements

The golden goose of online income. Free ads, like banners, usually pay 10-20% on CPM and can pay for all the other fees you incur.

As soon as you sign up with one of these services you are rewarded with ad spaces right away.

All you have to do is promote it on your blog and then if you get the reader’s attention, they can click on the ad and then be taken to the advertiser’s website.

Goals If you’ve found a theme or type of content that works for you and then your readers follow along,

then you can continue to blog about the same topic month after month.

There are many sites that do blogging contests and other types of awards and just simply to continue to make money while you get more readers and have more opportunities to promote it is another way to go.

But if you find something that you really love or are willing to dedicate a year to, then by all means, stick with it! Paid Ads I’m a very slow seller of ads. But I know a lot of others are just the opposite and make a nice chunk of change every month.

You need to market yourself and get your articles read and promoted, but there are some amazing opportunities if you look.

These opportunities will vary from region to region so you may not find the same type of thing over here as you would over there.

But if you put your hand to something you will find a way to make money with it! Themes Every blogging community has several different blog themes out there to choose from. Of course, it can be difficult to choose the best fit for your site.

I always recommend, if you can, to use a trial version for at least 30 days before deciding. You can find free trial versions of most of them.

You can also buy themes or hire a web designer to create one.

It will cost you a little, but it will also give you a good sense of how much

you can sell it for. Another option is to hire a web designer. They can take your new theme and use it to create your website for you. Then when you decide to sell it, it will already have been branded for you. Write an article about your new theme. Host a Contest Having a contest to award a free theme is a great way to increase traffic to your site and increase your traffic for at least the following month. A social bookmarking contest is another good one.

In this contest, the best and most popular post with the most social shares is awarded a free theme.

If you have lots of social shares you can increase your traffic and also boost the amount you make from ads!
